DESIGN NOTES
Intentional Layering: The project includes materials for both learners and educators to support tiered implementation — from a quick mood check-in to a full educator-led workshop.
Tools Used: Canva (guide, slide deck, infographics), PDF, YouTube (videos)
Instructional Strategy: SEL frameworks informed the development, with a focus on breath, body, and emotional awareness activities designed to be easily embedded into daily routines.
Visual Design: Calm tones and open layouts reflect the theme of mindfulness while maintaining classroom relevance for learners.
REFLECTION / IMPACT
Classroom Use: Higher student engagement during transitions and improved ability to name and manage emotions over time.
Iteration Ideas: Future updates could include audio-guided practices and student journal prompts to deepen self-reflection.
What I Learned: Mindfulness isn’t a one-size-fits-all tool — embedding it meaningfully requires sensitivity to classroom culture and flexibility in delivery.
